HOMEOPATHY
What is homeopathy?
Homeopathy is the ultimate natural system of medicine created by an ingenious German Doctor called Samuel Hahnemann over 200 years ago. Homeopathy takes into consideration all aspects of your health which includes your mental health, emotional well-being, all physical symptoms and your energetic & spiritual aspects as part of your constitutional profile and initial consultation. We view disease, illness and symptoms as an imbalance of this whole picture, making Homeopathy a naturally holistic approach to healing. Throughout your life you will possibly experience different illnesses some will be acute, short lasting and manageable and some will be chronic. Homeopaths treat both acute and chronic illnesses.
How does homeopathy work?
Homeopathy is a spectacular system of energy medicine which is why it works so well on us, as we are energetic beings. Each substance that we utilise is diluted and made into a remedy, then these remedies act as a catalyst to help your body’s own innate healing frequency to rebalance and address any disharmony that you are experiencing. Homeopathy naturally stimulates your body’s vital force to heal and realign.
What happens in a consultation?
We take detailed notes of your health issues and afterwards prescribe a remedy that suits you best. Your first appointment tends to last between 60-90 minutes. The consultation can be an incredibly powerful and cathartic experience as you are really listened to and nothing you say in relation to your health is dismissed or irrelevant to Homeopaths. We prescribe remedies based on the person in front of us, as you begin to heal, your symptoms change and this enables us to adjust your prescription. How you exhibit a disease will be totally different to anybody else in the world. You are unique to us and your prescription will mirror this by being individually tailored to meet your specifications.
Is homeopathy safe to use with allopathic medication?
Homeopathy is safe to use alongside conventional medication and also if you are receiving other holistic treatments like osteopathy, chiropractic, massage, reiki, acupuncture, physiotherapy and others. Homeopathy is gentle, non-toxic, inexpensive, non-addictive, and it is not tested on animals.
What do I treat?
My practise focuses on Woman’s health and well-being, particularly hormonal imbalances, anxiety, trauma and grief. More recently I have extended my treatments into fertility.

MASSAGE
How to communicate in a session?
This is your session so never be afraid to ask a question, insist on more pressure, less pressure, if you are too hot or too cold, need the bathroom or feel uncomfortable. I will always be obliging and understanding.
What happens in my first session?
We review your preliminary health form and complete a physical assessment & identify any problematic areas or concerns and then begin the treatment.
Am I dressed or undressed during a massage?
Every treatment is client lead and if you feel the need to leave certain items of clothing on that is fine. I invite you to try the massage with your underwear on and I keep you draped in towels and blankets. For dressing and undressing purposes I leave the room.
Will the massage hurt?
I am specifically trained as a holistic massage practitioner and view pain as your bodies way of telling me to ease off on the firmness, pressure or repetition. If you haven’t had a massage in quite sometime it can be quite normal to be a bit sore the next day and I encourage you to drink more water, take a pinch of sea salt which is full of magnesium and stretch out the aching parts.
How often do I need a massage?
I encourage you to have a massage every 4-6 weeks if you are in good health. If you have an acute muscular or emotional and mental situation then we can discuss your requirements as needed.
How will I feel post treatment?
Once your session ends it is quite normal to feel deeply relaxed, elevated, and at times out of your body, wobbly, or tired. You can have an emotional release or feel old feelings come to the surface, this can be experienced as body aches and muscular pains too. This is very normal and I encourage you to express these, journal through them, take time to rest, stretch, talk things through and hydrate yourself with water.
What massage tools do you use?
I create a fusion of practical knowledge with my intuitive energetic gifts during your sessions and at times I will combine different tools to deepen the healing. Crystals, tuning forks, tarot, dowsing, smudging, and breathwork can all be integrated into your treatment.
Do you play music?
Yes I play music if it is not to your liking please let me know.
REIKI
What is Reiki?
Reiki as you know it today is an incredible Japanese healing modality that was rediscovered by Mikao Usui in the late 1800’s. It is not a new system of healing and when you look further back into history you can gain insight that this type of healing has been part of humankind since time immemorial. Reiki is an ancient yet simple laying on of hands technique and is an effective natural system of energy healing that helps to reduce stress, facilitate wellbeing, promote good health and over all feelings of peace and inner calm. On a deeper level it helps you to connect with your spiritual path and souls journey in this earthly realm.
How does Reiki work?
Reiki is a powerful healing modality which works on the principle that we are all vibrational energetic beings powered by our individual life force and the universal life force. We have several energy centres, or chakras, meridians, nadis and auric pathways which we generate and receive this energy from. There can be various times in our lives when these pathways can become stagnant, traumatised, blocked, incoherent or lacking in vitality and energy. Reiki practitioners act as a conduit to rebalance, rejuvenate and revitalise these centres and pathways by directing the infinite flow of Universal energy or Ki directly back to your body with their hands. This then gives you the ability to release negative emotions, physical sensations, unwanted thought patterns and helps to induce a deep state of relaxation and healing.
What happens during a reiki treatment?
Firstly we discuss your preliminary health form and then you are invited to relax comfortably on the table fully clothed and I cover you in blankets. Normally the session starts on your head and we work down the body placing on our hands either on you or above you to direct the flow of the Ki, the energy. People often report various different sensations in their body from tingling, to jerking, to fuzzy feelings and your stomach can gurgle loudly as the energy moves through you. Also felt is the sensation of cold or hot drafts, visualisations and colour blasts, and often times a sense of not knowing exactly where the practitioner is working on you. Experiencing a heightened state of consciousness or awareness is apparent at times and falling asleep is very normal which I actively encourage as this allows you to have a very deep and restorative session.
How many Reiki sessions will I need?
I guide this by assessing your level of health, whether you have a chronic or acute illness, your work schedule and family commitments, your financial situation and any other factors that might arise. As a rule of thumb I advise clients to begin with three sessions over a six week period. If you have more pressing health concerns then once a week for three weeks is advised.

What happens after a Reiki treatment?
Most people tend to experience an immediate sense of overall wellbeing and relaxation. Even a sense of euphoria, altered states and spiritual awakening is common place. I advise you to take a gentle day ahead and allow the healing to assimilate as there will be many residual benefits from your treatment. Sometimes you can feel a little bit spaced out or ungrounded so I invite you to take some sea salt and water and sit for a moment to fully come back into your body.
How does distance healing work?
We are all energetic beings, and we are all connected via the collective consciousness. When you utilise Reiki and intention to work specifically with another person or animal it is possible to emit a healing frequency and resonance that has the capacity to transcend time and space. When I work with distance healing clients you ARE energetically in my healing space, on my table and I am able to tune into your vibrational codes and broadcast healing frequencies to rebalance, realign and release energetic blocks, trapped emotions, mental imbalances and physical pain. I approach the session just as though you are physically here and I draw on all my modalities to gleam the information you need to heal and transform on an energetic level as well as dealing with your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies.
